PRN started in 2000 with 5 members. Our ranks now number over 55 dedicated health-care professionals- Physicians, Residents and Nurses. PRN has provided approximately 10,000 physical exams to both children and adults, and our volunteer doctors have performed over 300 surgeries free of charge.
With the help of our partner Catholic Medical Mission Board, and the donations of Bridgeport Hospital, Yale-New Haven Hospital, and St. Raphael's Hospital in Connecticut, we have distributed $8,000,000 in donated medicines and supplies to third world countries over the last 9 years. |

| Over 99% of the funds we raise are used for the direct care of our patients. Everyone is a "volunteer" at PRN donating their time, talents, and dedication. Our mission is to build a relationship with the communities that we care for, returning year after year and supplying the people in these areas with enough drugs for hypertension, diabetes and childhood conditions to last for one year until we return again. In Jamaica we have been welcomed into the communities and have laughed and cried with families. The people know us and we are honorary members of their community!
- For the past 10 years we have been serving the people of Trenchtown, Kingston, Jamaica from our free-standing clinic that is cared for by the community
- In Honduras we are focusing on developing a gynecological surgical program for the women of the communities
- During our visits to the Dominican Republic we have set up primary care clinics throughout the countryside and cared for those living outside the cities
- United States - a team worked in Biloxi, Mississippi after Katrina setting up the emergency room outside the hospital under a tent to care for patients and help the already overburdened hospital
- Sri Lanka Tsunami Relief included a team of doctors and nurses who went to the northeast coast to help those communities recover from the devastation of the tsunami
- Liberia, West Africa- teams are working in Liberia to teach and care for the people of Monrovia as they rebuild after 14 years of civil war
